Farm in the sky grows micro-greens in shaded planters called growing pods. They are built out of common materials in for economy and simplicity. At the base is a heat treated wooden pallet that is lightweight, yet allows drainage from the planter above. The planter is three inches deep. It holds just enough soil to grow micro-greens. Micro-greens exposed to a lot of direct sunlight will become tough. We use shade cloth supported by a frame made of bent electrical conduit, which is attached to the pallet.
